55 1/2" Everett Upright #15167
Elegant Victorian rosewood cabinet. Built about 1888. Restored by Ray’s Piano Service in 2006.
IMPROVEMENTS COMPLETED:
Rebuild & restring—Dismantle, destring, remove plate, repair soundboard as needed, replace bass bridge cap, replace pinblock, refinish pinblock & soundboard, restring and repin.
Recondition action and pedal mechanisms--Rebuild pedal mechanisms, replace casters, replate pedals and cover plate. Completely recondition action: new hammers, shanks, butts, wippens, stickers.
Key repairs, Refinish Lid--Replace chipped ivories, clean & buff keytops, rebush keys. Refinish piano lid.
Complete Regulation—All adjustments to ensure that piano plays like new--hammer blow distance, string-to-hammer alignment, capstans, letoff, key height & leveling, key dip, pedals, damper spoons, etc. Tune to A-440.

IMPROVEMENTS COMPLETED:
Recondition action—Clean, install new hammers, install new bridle tapes, install new hammer rail felt, tighten screws, replace defective parts, rebush keys as needed. Rebuild pedal mechanisms. Install new rear casters.
Complete Regulation—All adjustments to ensure that piano plays like new, tune to A-440
Refinish--Dismantle, strip cabinet & panels, repair as needed, sand, stain, sealer, black lacquer. Install new music rest cloth, buttons, knobs. Install new plastic keytops.

Restring bass section—Dismantle. Remove bass section pins and strings. Restring & repin bass section.
Recondition action—Tighten screws. Install new hammers, backcheck felts, damper felts, replace defective parts.
Complete Regulation—All adjustments to ensure that piano plays like new, tune to A-440, tune.
Case work—Recondition pedal mechanisms, install new casters, replace chipped ivories.

Built in 1886 by the Everett Piano Company of Boston. Reconditioned by Ray's Piano Service in 2010. A great piano when new. Will give many more years of musical enjoyment! Ideal for the serious musician. Deep, rich musical tone.
IMPROVEMENTS COMPLETED:
Soundboard, Bridges, Strings, Pins, Pinblock
Clean interior. Dismantle piano. Restring and repin bass section.
Action, Back Action & Dampers, Keys & Keyframe, Regulation, Tuning
Recondition action (Clean action. Remove hammer rail, hammer spring rail, damper levers, regulating rail. Remove original damper felts, clean and tighten damper springs, install new damper felts. Tighten all action screws. Replace approximately 60 hammer flanges eliminate wobbling of hammers. Remove all original hammerheads, install new German Abel hammerheads. Install new hammer rail felt. Re-assemble damper levers, rails.) Complete regulation (Clean all keys and ivories. Replace badly worn key bushings. Clean keybed, replace original key cloth and underkey punchings. Regulate capstans, key heights and key leveling, letoff, key dip, damper spoons). Several tunings until tuning stability is attained.
Cabinet, Pedal Mechanisms, Casters, Accessories
Clean casters. Touch-up areas of cabinet damage. Polish exterior surfaces. Provide mahogany artist bench.
