Established--1956 by three Kim brothers, Young, Chang and Jai-Sup in Seoul, Korea.

Other brand-names used by this manufacturer--Names on pianos built by Young Chang have included Astor, Bechendorff, Cline, Essex, Ibach, Knabe, Nakamura, Schafer & Sons, Wagner, Weber, Wurlitzer.

5'2" Young Chang Grand Model G-157 Serial # 812832
Ebony Polish Cabinet, with Matching Bench. Built in 1981. Reconditioned and sold on consignment to buyer in Bellingham, WA by Ray's Piano Service in 1911.
IMPROVEMENTS COMPLETED:
Recondition Action—Clean interior, tighten screws.
Complete Regulation—
Make adjustments to ensure that piano plays like new: key height, key levelling, hammer blow distance, lost motion, letoff,  sustain, spoons. Tune to A-440.
45" Young Chang Upright Model U-116 Ser # 0266055
Ebony polish cabinet. Built in 1987. Action reconditioned and regulated, interior thoroughly cleaned, tuned, sold on consignment to buyer in Seattle WA by Ray's Piano Service in August 2009.
