INSPECTION & INITIAL EVALUATION:
Board & Bridges--Some corrosion, but OK. Pin torque good.
Action--Action screws loose. Hammers poorly aligned to strings. Two hammers improperly installed. Regulation adjustments required, esp. Hammer blow distance, letoff & drop. Dampers lift unevenly, some not at all.
IMPROVEMENTS COMPLETED:
Complete Cleaning--Clean cabinet interior, strings, keybed.
Recondition Action, Repair Lid—Recondition action (clean & tighten screws, reglue two hammers, tighten all action screws). Repair lid (fill lid hinge screw holes, re-install lid hinges, reassemble lid:
Partial Regulation & Tuning—Align hammers to strings, regulate back checks, Regulate hammer blow distance, letoff & drop. Improve regulation of dampers. Improve Improve Increase key dip. Adjust pitch. Tune.
